Thank you, Steve Schmidt, for reminding people that Netanyahu, like Trump, is an indicted criminal and for both useless pricks they NEED to stay in power to keep out of prison. Neither of them gives two hoots in hell about the damage done to their own countries.
Lemon is a racist, biased, arrogant, narcissistic, flaming homosexual that no one with a brain should pay any attention to. His main project is pushing the gay/ trans issue on every normal person. CNN canned his ass for his misogynistic, racist, biased opinions. When CNN cans you it has got to be serious.
He’s not anti-semitic. He’s actually more of a semite than most jews. Think about it. Because he answered the question at the debates, stating that he would not go to Israel as his first choice—that he’d stay and work with ALL New Yorkers, which includes EVERYONE, he’s being chastised. Don’t New Yorkers want someone that is focused on New York???
We need to REALLY be afraid now! Just a little refresher course, thanks to Google...
“Nuclear weapons are the most destructive, inhumane and indiscriminate weapons ever created. Both in the scale of the devastation they cause, and in their uniquely persistent, spreading, genetically damaging radioactive fallout, they are unlike any other weapons. A single nuclear bomb detonated over a large city could kill millions of people. The use of tens or hundreds of nuclear bombs would disrupt the global climate, causing widespread famine.
If a nuclear weapon detonates, what happens?
Short-term effects
It takes around 10 seconds for the fireball from a nuclear explosion to reach its maximum size. A nuclear explosion releases vast amounts of energy in the form of blast, heat and radiation. An enormous shockwave reaches speeds of many hundreds of kilometres an hour. The blast kills people close to ground zero, and causes lung injuries, ear damage and internal bleeding further away. People sustain injuries from collapsing buildings and flying objects. Thermal radiation is so intense that almost everything close to ground zero is vaporized. The extreme heat causes severe burns and ignites fires over a large area, which coalesce into a giant firestorm. Even people in underground shelters face likely death due to a lack of oxygen and carbon monoxide poisoning.
Long-term effects
In the long-term, nuclear weapons produce ionizing radiation, which kills or sickens those exposed, contaminates the environment, and has long-term health consequences, including cancer and genetic damage. Their widespread use in atmospheric testing has caused grave long-term consequences. Physicians project that some 2.4 million people worldwide will eventually die from cancers due to atmospheric nuclear tests conducted between 1945 and 1980.
The use of less than one percent of the nuclear weapons in the world could disrupt the global climate and threaten as many as two billion people with starvation in a nuclear famine in the long-term. The detonation of thousands of nuclear weapons could result in a nuclear winter, which would destroy our fragile ecosystem.
Physicians and first responders would be unable to work in devastated, radioactively contaminated areas. Even a single nuclear detonation in a modern city would strain existing disaster relief resources to the breaking point; a nuclear war would overwhelm any relief system we could build in advance. Displaced populations from a nuclear war will produce a refugee crisis that is orders of magnitude larger than any we have ever experienced.”
NO MORE WAR!
RESIST!
REFUSE TO OBEY ORDERS!
IMPEACH! IMPRISON!
Stand up, stand out, stand strong, stand together.
Love is God/Allah. God/Allah is Love. Pray in earnest. Love be with you!
“The nine countries known to possess nuclear weapons are the United States, Russia, China, France, United Kingdom, Pakistan, India, Israel, and North Korea. Israel neither confirms nor denies its possession of nuclear weapons, but it is widely believed to have them.
The only country to have EVER dropped an atomic bomb is the USA! The two Japanese cities where atomic bombs were dropped during World War II were Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The bombings occurred on August 6th and 9th, 1945, respectively.” (Google)
I had the opportunity to visit Japan and was told by a Japanese English teacher that his town, Osaka, had been spared by agreement of USA & Japanese military planners from bombing during the war because it was so rich in historical sites thousands of years old. Buildings were more important and revered in war mongering than people.
I was three years old at the time World War II ended. I think it’s rich that we have learned absolutely nothing from this disastrous inhumane wartime calamity. We were taught in school and our so called free corporate news media also proclaimed that it was a good thing – that it ended the war, thereby saving lives. Seriously?
Our modern day schools have fire drills, shooter drills, earthquake drills. In my day we had atomic bomb drills, where we dropped and hid under our desks to supposedly protect ourselves from a blast. We built bomb shelters in our back yards. We were in shock and we were misled. We were kept in the dark with insidious secrets keeping. We were lied to. We lived in fear that fellow citizens on the planet would retaliate, so we tried to stay on top of having the largest nuclear arsenal and stopping others from gaining equal power to destroy the Earth.
This has always reminded me of the malignant racism prolific in our country. The white elite feels guilty for their past history of slave ownership, indigenous massacres, and immigrant otherism. So many dread retaliation from black and brown neighbors, believing that they would soon turn on them. I actually had relatives in the South who kept loaded guns hidden all over their property and in their vehicles, just in case. One couple in particular, steeped in Christian religion, lived that way in dread and anxiety all their life, anticipating Armageddon. Ironically, they never actually experienced what they feared, both having succumbed to cancer at a relatively young age. How ironic.
It makes me think of Americans I’ve met as a family historian researcher, whose ancestors recently came from other countries - you name the country or continent – yet are avid anti immigrationists. They’ve become MAGA tRumpers, never realizing how deep the danger is from racism in this country and how soon they will also be on the hate and loathing banquet cancel menu.
I think it’s ludicrous that we’ve allowed our country to be led by insane madmen yet again. We paste ourselves 24/7 to media devices that spew hate and ignorance – vulgarity and incivility – and we allow ourselves to be dumbed down and readily manipulated by lies, propaganda, misinformation and disinformation.
We need to understand how much in common we have with our fellow human beings, despite language, dress, food, music, and so many cultural, religious, and political differences. “The flip side of fear is understanding.” “Peace be upon us.”
The feckless Dem leaders need to get their collective heads out of their ass!! I love my country and align more with the Dem party but DAMN our leaders are stuck in the damn stone age!
You're right Steve ,it's absolute fkn madness . They had no plan , so it will be chaos, just like Steve said . This country right now is fkn chaotic. Just think we're at war abroad & home , it's fkn madness
I do want to apologize to both Don and Steve for my inappropriate reaction (or MAGA reaction). I thought Don, you handled it exceptionally well. I may disagree with you, but you and Steve make some pretty good points. I am very sorry for having been so crass and discourteous, bypassing your worthy discussion and analysis.

I hope they share a cell one day
Don remember that anytime Trump speaks, it is a lie and/or a con !!
Steve, your words are true.
Great discussion!! You both are on point!! My late father changed his view re: DT while watching Mr Lemon on CNN last term. I appreciated both of you.

What does his sexual orientation have to do with anything on the news?

Meet the people we just went to war with.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYoa9hI3CXg Rick Steve’s Iran - a travel video created about 11 years ago about the people of Iran. “Government’s make war, not people.”
We need to understand how much in common we have with our fellow human beings, despite language, dress, food, music, and so many cultural, religious, and political differences. “The flip side of fear is understanding.” “Peace be upon us.”
Only fools rush in.
Damn our stupidity. Condemn our irresponsible apathy. Decry our ignoramus vapid leadership.
The feckless Dem leaders need to get their collective heads out of their ass!! I love my country and align more with the Dem party but DAMN our leaders are stuck in the damn stone age!
I have covered Iran for decades and the back and forth with the IAEA and more. Steve’s insights are always brilliant.
right on Don
